Dear GLOBAL 3D supporter,

Since the summer of 2025, we’ve been looking into whether it would be possible to organize GLOBAL 3D 2026. We really wanted to see if we could make it happen again and deliver the kind of event everyone knows and expects from GLOBAL 3D.

To get a clearer picture, we sent out questionnaires to sponsors to understand their ideas and level of support. Based on the feedback, we made a few changes to the format, like reducing the number of flight sets to four, to make the competition more balanced and put less emphasis on sets in the overall score.

Sadly, even after reaching out multiple times, we didn’t get enough positive confirmations to realistically pull off an event of this size. While some sponsors were still very enthusiastic and supportive, overall there just wasn’t enough backing to move forward responsibly.

So, as much as it hurts to say it, GLOBAL 3D 2026 is not happening.

We’re truly sorry to disappoint the pilots who were training hard and the sponsors who continued to believe in and support the event. We know how much effort, time, and passion goes into this, and this was not an easy decision.

Going forward, we will focus our efforts and support on GLOBAL 3D Asia, and we’re excited to continue growing the GLOBAL 3D spirit there.
